Introduction

I have planned a long trip with my best friends, so I realized that there will be no signal in some places. I thought that if I get bored, then I should play offline games. So, I mostly love Android simulation games. Then I have searched best Android simulation games.

I got a bunch of games on the Google Play Store. I have installed so many games from that I have filtered the best games that provide a great experience. Finding Games is not an easy task. So don’t waste your time on finding these games. Don’t worry, the games below provide a great offline experience. Mostly, if you like games like farming, city building, driving heavy vehicles, etc. Before I leave my home, I have installed all the games through Home Wi-fi.

Quick Comparison:

GameBest ForOfflineWhat My Test Showed
Stardew ValleyFarming and life simulationYes, after first install2D graphics, used about 50 MB of memory on a 3 GB RAM phone, and loaded smoothly.
Bus Simulator IndonesiaRealistic bus drivingYes, after first installAround 40 FPS on narrow roads on a budget phone. Turning off side mirror reflections helped performance.
TheoTownCity buildingYes, after first installRan smoothly at first, but performance became more demanding as the city grew. Avoid excessive zooming after reaching 50,000 population on a low-end phone.
Farming Simulator 23 MobileModern realistic farmingYes, after first installDetailed 3D tractors and fields put more strain on the phone. The device started warming up after 25 minutes of harvesting.
Fallout ShelterResource managementYes, after first installIts 2D graphics were lightweight, and the battery dropped by only 5% in 45 minutes.
WorldBox – God SimulatorSandbox world-buildingYes, after first installRan smoothly in a peaceful world, but the frame rate dropped when thousands of humans fought in large-scale wars.

1. Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is one of the best farming games. In this game, you will get a real farming experience while playing. You should grow crops by watering them, and also you will explore caves, catch fish, and you can build a farmhouse. Almost you can do all the things that a real farmer will do. So, while iam playing this game, it feels very relaxing to me. While playing the game i used to mainly focus on growing crops and expanding my farm.

While playing, the seasons will change. Based on seasons, you should grow different crops. By playing the game consistently, you can see new events and some little secrets. Definitely, you will enjoy this game.

If you love farming games that work without the need of an internet connection, then this game is for you.

How it actually runs on my old phone: Stardew Valley just uses classic 2D graphics instead of heavy 3D files, so it is light weight game on your phone. When I was expanding my farm and clearing out bushes on a basic 3GB RAM phone, it has been used 50MB of memory. It runs perfectly smooth, loads up fast, and won’t make your phone slow down or lag at all.

Best for relaxing, long farming sessions when you have no signal.

Watch out for this: crops change with the seasons, and the game rewards playing regularly, not rushing through it in one sitting.

2. Bus Simulator Indonesia (BUSSID)

Bus Simulator

Bus Simulator Indonesia is one of the most played bus games. I have downloaded this game to get bus driving experience. Here in this game, you need to drive a bus through roads, villages, and it provides a great experience, and the game’s sounds make you feel more realistic.

After installing, it was somewhat hard to play. Then, spending some time learning it and driving perfectly on narrow roads. You need to pick up the passengers and drop at their destination. The passengers will pay you.

Most of the driving games will focus on racing, whereas BUSSID will make you drive the bus carefully.

If you want to enjoy driving simulator games by transporting passengers and earn rewards, then this is the best choice.

My lag verdict on narrow roads: This game has heavy driving physics because you have to handle a huge bus on tiny village roads. When I drive through narrow streets on a budget phone, the frame rate stayed around 40fps, which can be easily playable. Make sure go into the settings and turn off the side mirror reflections completely.

Best for careful bus driving, not racing.

Watch out for this: it feels hard at first on narrow roads, take some time to learn it before you judge it.

3. TheoTown

TheonTown

TheoTown is one of the wonderful game who really want to do city-building. It has become one of my favourite games. I think you will also love this game because it provides a large amount of freedom for players.

In this game, you are responsible for building a city from scratch. And the city has roads, commercial buildings, factories, and schools. TheoTown makes you think as a civil engineer if you make mistakes in planning that lead to traffic problems.

Firstly, placing buildings in empty space will be fine. But when you expand, that may become a problem.

This game helps you to create the city which you want. Install the TheoTown game if you love to play games like city-building.

My honest review on city growth: When you first start building your town on an empty plot, it runs very smoothly. But once your city grows with hundreds of schools, factories, and complex roads, your phone’s processor has to work much harder to calculate all the traffic paths. If you are using a low-end phone, just don’t try not to zoom once your population increases more than 50,000 to keep running smoothly.

Best for building a city exactly how you want it.

Watch out for this: a small town is easy, a big city with hundreds of buildings and roads will make a low-end phone work much harder.

4. Farming Simulator 23 Mobile

Farming Simulator

Farming Simulator 23 Mobile is also one of the excellent farming games. Most of the farming games will feel like cartoon graphics with simple mechanics.

The game provides licensed tractors. By using tractors, you need to harvest crops. You need to manage complete farming like a real farmer.

Playing Farming Simulator 23 provides a realistic farming experience that makes you feel very natural. And the game is very satisfying. Every machine in the game has a specific purpose. Here, you need to grow crops, not just tapping on buttons.

This is the best one for those who want to enjoy doing real agriculture and to get real farmer experience by growing crops.

My test note on heating: This game consists of tractor models and realistic crop fields that put a lot of pressure on budget graphics chips. After harvesting fields for 25 minutes on my test device, my phone started slowly getting warm. To keep your hardware cool, just clear out heavy apps like WhatsApp before you start the game.

Best for real farming with licensed tractors and proper machines.

Watch out for this: it’s the heaviest game on this list, so don’t play it for a long stretch on a budget phone without a break.

5. Fallout Shelter

Fallout Shelter

Fallout Shelter is one of the best base-building games. I have played this for a few hours, not minutes, and then I realized that it requires more planning while playing.

In this game, you need to build and manage an underground where people can live safely. You need to assign them to the correct room to see a high difference.

Actually, in Fallout Shelter i have built several rooms without thinking about food production and my power. As the shelter grows, you need to welcome new residents and train their abilities. This game provides a great experience.

If you like to enjoy management games like decision-making, the Fallout Shelter is the best one.

Battery drainage test: Fallout Shelter is a 2D management game, so it will not drain your battery like heavy action games. I spent a 45 minutes building new rooms, managing my power supply, and sorting out food production on my phone, and also my battery only dropped by 5%.

Best for planning and managing, not fast action.

Watch out for this: I learned this the hard way, don’t build rooms without thinking about food and power first, or you’ll struggle as your shelter grows.

6. WorldBox – God Simulator

Worldbox

World Box is one of the best simulator games. Here in WorldBox, you can become the creator of the entire world. You can place forests, mountains, rivers, and animals in the game wherever you want. After placing, the civilizations will begin growing themselves.

You need to be consistent so the villages will expand to large kingdoms, which will be very satisfying. I have created a peaceful kingdom and expanded it by playing consistently. The game mainly focuses on creativity.

This is best for those who want to enjoy peaceful world-building without the need of internet connection.

Lag check for big battles: WorldBox will runs like a dream when you are creating a peaceful world with trees and animals. But if you drop thousands of humans onto the map and let kingdoms declare massive global wars all at once, the frame rate will drops quickly on budget hardware. If you want a smooth experience, just keep your creature populations very balanced.

Best for peaceful, creative world building.

Watch out for this: keep your creature numbers balanced. A peaceful kingdom runs fine, thousands of humans in a world war does not.

Conclusion:

The simulation games with no need of internet connection will provide a different kind of experience, like growing a farm, managing shelters, designing a city, and getting driving experience through realistic roads.

If you want the best overall experience, Stardew Valley is my first recommendation because it offers a large amount of content. If you want to enjoy building and management games, then go with TheoTown and Fallout Shelter. My recommendation is to download all the games one by one and test them if you like, and keep them installed. All the games don’t require an internet connection.

I have installed all the above games, and I am still playing when there is no availability of internet connection. Try all the games and comment down which is your favourite game.

If I had to take only two games on that long trip with no signal, I would take Stardew Valley and TheoTown. Stardew is the one I can play for hours without getting tired of it, and TheoTown is the one I keep coming back to because my city is never really finished. The other four are still worth keeping installed, but those two are the ones that kept me busy when there was no signal at all.

FAQ’s

1. Are all of these simulation games completely offline?

Stardew Valley is the absolute perfect starting choice. The controls are very simple, the gameplay will be some what relaxing, and it gives you plenty of fun farming activities without making you stress about complex rules or time limits.

3. Which game on this list has the most realistic graphics?

Farming Simulator 23 Mobile has the best 3D graphics, especially when it comes to the tractor textures and field detail. However, because the visual assets are so heavy, it will work your phone’s processor much harder than 2D games like WorldBox or Fallout Shelter.

4. Can I play these simulation titles on an older phone?

Absolutely. Stardew Valley and Fallout Shelter are perfectly optimized to give you a lag-free experience on budget devices, and WorldBox also runs well if you keep your world peaceful. If you play BUSSID or TheoTown, just lower your graphic settings slightly as your map gets bigger.
